  • Whales accumulated 16,010 BTC in five days as Bitcoin declined from $87,000 toward $80,000.
  • Bitcoin must hold the $77,000 weekly support level to keep the $93,000-$100,000 range in play.
  • Bitcoin faces a key supply zone near $84,569, with $89,000 and $94,000 as potential upside targets.

Bitcoin is facing renewed technical pressure near $82,500 as weakening three-day momentum indicators coincide with increased buying from large holders. Crypto analyst Kevin warned that Bitcoin could experience a pullback toward year-end, while Ali Charts reported that whales accumulated 16,010 BTC over five days as the price declined from $87,000 toward $80,000.

The mixed signals have placed $77,000 support and the $84,569 supply zone at the center of the latest market analysis, with upcoming U.S. consumer price index (CPI) data identified as a potential catalyst.

Bitcoin Technical Indicators Signal Weakening Momentum

Kevin said Bitcoin’s three-day indicators were beginning to roll over as the price traded around $82,500. His analysis identifies the $83,000-$77,000 range as a key area for Bitcoin to hold on the weekly timeframe.

According to Kevin, maintaining this range would keep the $93,000-$100,000 price zone in play. However, a weekly close below $77,000 would bring the $76,000-$67,000 range into focus.

He also identifies repeated rejections around $80,000-$85,000, alongside Fibonacci resistance levels near $85,300 and $89,400. Support levels appear around $77,800 and $69,400.

The three-day momentum indicators show bearish divergence and two sell signals. The chart also indicates that money flow has crossed into the red zone, suggesting weakening momentum. However, these signals do not confirm an immediate breakdown, and a long-term move above resistance could invalidate the bearish setup.

Kevin also pointed to USDT dominance rebounding from major support as a signal behind his pullback outlook for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. He identified Wednesday’s CPI release as a possible catalyst for the market.

Bitcoin Whales Accumulate 16,010 BTC

While technical indicators point to weakening momentum, on-chain data shared by Ali Charts shows that large Bitcoin holders increased their balances during the recent decline.

Whale holdings rose from 5,247,316 BTC to 5,263,326 BTC over five days, an increase of 16,010 BTC (0.305%) as Bitcoin fell from about $87,000 toward $80,000.

Ali Charts said the accumulation could support a rebound, but Bitcoin must clear a significant supply zone first. Data attributed to Glassnode shows that nearly 800,000 BTC were previously traded around $84,569.

$84,569 Becomes a Key Price Level

Bitcoin’s Unspent Realized Price Distribution (URPD) data also identifies supply concentrations near $83,307, $87,094, $92,143, $95,929, and $100,978. Additional clusters appear around $76,996 and $104,765.

URPD tracks the prices at which existing coins last moved, rather than guaranteeing support or resistance at those levels. Ali Charts is also monitoring Bitcoin’s position near the lower boundary of a rising channel. If support holds and the price breaks above $84,569, the analyst is watching $89,000 and $94,000 as potential upside targets.

Bitcoin’s near-term direction will depend on whether buyers can defend the $77,000 support zone and push the price above the $84,569 supply level. Continued whale accumulation could help support a recovery, but weakening momentum indicators leave room for further downside. The upcoming US CPI report may add volatility, while a break below support or a sustained move above resistance could determine Bitcoin’s next major move.
