Chainlink price prediction for next week stays bullish above $11.86, the level LINK needs to hold after falling about 20% from its late-September high.
Chainlink Price Analysis: Can LINK Hold Its August Trendline?
LINK has held its rising trendline so far, trading at $12.47, up 0.22% today, with the line now running near $11.86 alongside the lower Bollinger Band. A recent daily candle dipped to that area and recovered, which shows buyers stepped in there.
LINK still sits about 20% below its late-September high near $15.75, and price is trading right on the 50-day EMA at $12.47, under both the 20-day EMA at $13.04 and the Bollinger Band midline at $13.54. Those two levels are the first hurdles for any recovery, while the rising 100-day and 200-day EMAs at $11.44 and $10.89 keep the broader trend positive.

Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams Go Live on Stellar
Chainlink’s Data Feeds and Data Streams, its price and market data services, are now live on the Stellar network, according to an October 14 announcement from the Stellar Development Foundation. Stellar supports more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets, and the integration gives developers the pricing data needed to build lending markets, prediction markets and perpetual futures on top of them.
Stellar said leading ecosystem applications are using the data from launch for collateral processing, loan-to-value calculations, automated liquidations and stablecoin reference rates, though it did not name them. Stellar Development Foundation Chief Business Officer Raja Chakravorti said the next phase for tokenized assets is putting them to work rather than just issuing them.
Lido Adds Direct ETH Staking on Layer-2 Networks Through Chainlink CCIP
Lido said users can now stake ETH directly from its interface on Arbitrum, Base, Linea and Optimism without bridging to Ethereum and back. The feature runs on Chainlink’s CCIP, its cross-chain protocol, and uses a Chainlink price feed for the exchange rate.
Lido described the process in a follow-up post. A user’s ETH is swapped for wstETH, Lido’s wrapped staked ETH token, from a liquidity pool on the same network. The ETH is then bridged to Ethereum and staked through Lido, and wstETH is sent back to refill the pool.
LINK ETF Flows Cool After the October 9 Spike
US spot LINK ETFs recorded a net inflow of $12.16K on October 15, as Bitwise’s CLNK added $456.40K and Grayscale’s GLNK lost $444.24K according to SoSoValue.

That follows a $9.48M inflow on October 9, which Altcoin Buzz called the funds’ biggest day of the year. Flows have been thin since, with $1.18M on Monday, nothing on Tuesday or Wednesday and the small Thursday figure. Altcoin Buzz noted that LINK still slid 6% to $12.11 despite the buying.
Chainlink Derivatives: Shorts Take the Recent Hit After Longs Led Earlier Losses
LINK derivatives volume fell 20.45% to $421.87 million, yet open interest, the total value of open contracts, rose 6.25% to $595.09 million. Fewer trades alongside a growing pile of open contracts usually means traders are holding or adding to their bets rather than closing them.
Liquidations, which happen when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade, hit longs hardest over 24 hours at $315.95K, against $180.05K for shorts. The last 12 hours tell the opposite story, with shorts losing $84.78K and longs only $10.58K, so most of the long losses came earlier. Traders still lean toward a rise, with Binance showing 1.58 long accounts for every short and OKX showing 2.71.
| Metric | Value | What it shows |
| Derivatives volume | $421.87M, down 20.45% | Trading activity cooling |
| Open interest | $595.09M, up 6.25% | More money in open positions |
| 24h liquidations | $496K, longs $315.95K | Longs took most of the day’s losses |
| 12h liquidations | $95.36K, shorts $84.78K | Shorts took the recent hit |
| Binance long/short ratio | 1.58 | More accounts long than short |
| OKX long/short ratio | 2.71 | Heavier long positioning |
Chainlink Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for Next Week
Bullish Case, Target: $13.54
LINK holds above $11.86 and reclaims the 20-day EMA at $13.04. That would put the Bollinger Band midline at $13.54 in play, with the Stellar and Lido integrations giving buyers fresh adoption news to point to. A clean break above $13.54 would open the upper band near $15.22.
Bearish Case, Risk Level: $11.44 (100-Day EMA)
LINK loses the trendline near $11.86 and slips toward the 100-day EMA at $11.44. A close below that level would expose the 200-day EMA at $10.89 next.
Chainlink Price Prediction FAQs
LINK could extend toward $13.04 and then $13.54 if it holds above $11.86. Losing that level risks a pullback toward the 100-day EMA at $11.44.
Chainlink’s Data Feeds and Data Streams went live on the Stellar network, which supports more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets, according to the Stellar Development Foundation. Developers can now use the data to build lending markets, prediction markets and perpetual futures.
US spot LINK ETFs are still taking in money, but at a much slower pace, with $12.16K on October 15 after a $9.48M inflow on October 9, according to SoSoValue and Altcoin Buzz.
Coinglass data shows more traders positioned long than short, with Binance’s long/short ratio at 1.58 and OKX’s at 2.71.
