The basketball organization tapped 23 renowned and award-winning artists to “create their own style and voice in different disciplines.” Notably, THE AUROCHS collection is an artist-first NFT collaboration.

Beginning on September 22, the collection will be available to purchase via a 24-hour auction on Coinbase NFT. According to the listing, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to After School Matters, a Chicago-based nonprofit that provides high schoolers with after-school and summer opportunities.

With this collaboration, the Bulls recruited many successful artists in the web3 space, including Michael Salisbury, Deadfellaz, Efdot, Blake Jamieson, Bobby Hundreds, Sophie Sturdevant, Claire Salvo, Claire Silver, Gxng Yxng of Ghxsts, IMCMPLX, LOGIK, Alexa Meade, Mike Fogg, NoPattern, PROBCAUSE, Sabet, Sean Williams, Maliha Abidi, Shay the Surrealist, Sick Pencil, Swopes, Varvara Alay, and Zoe Rain.

Luka Dukich, Chicago Bulls executive director, said:

The Bulls are big believers in the web3 space and have seen how it’s been a gamechanger for artists across the world. We saw this collection as an opportunity to uniquely partner with some of the people who have established their own voices in this space and give them a chance to express what the Bulls brand looks like through their eyes

The Bulls’ iconic logo had not changed since its inception in 1966. With THE AUROCHS, fans of the team will be able to see a reimagined and reinterpreted Bulls logo.
