Bitcoin could face another sharp liquidity sweep if the Senate fails to advance the Clarity Act. Bitget’s team sees that outcome as a potential buying opportunity for BTC. The bill faces growing resistance after intense negotiations over the past 48 hours.
Several Democrats remain concerned about its potential impact on investor protections. Moreover, 17 state attorneys general led by New York’s Letitia James urged lawmakers to reject it. Eight banking groups also want stricter limits on stablecoin rewards.
Bitcoin traded near $76,041 after falling 3.83% over 24 hours. The cryptocurrency also declined 2.30% over the past seven days.
Analyst NoName expects BTC to test liquidity around $74,000 to $76,000. However, a quick recovery above $75,000 could strengthen the case for a rebound. Consequently, traders may view a downside sweep as an entry signal.

Significantly, approval would benefit major infrastructure providers and exchanges. Circle, Ripple, Coinbase, Robinhood, Kraken, Gemini, Fidelity, Grayscale, and Franklin Templeton could gain from clearer rules. However, failure may create short-term pressure while preserving a potential accumulation window.
