The Shiba Inu team has recently made headlines by forging a strategic alliance with K9 Finance, a platform specializing in liquid staking derivatives (LSD) and operating on the Shibarium network. This partnership, announced by Shiba Inu’s marketing leader Lucie through an X post, marks a significant expansion in the network’s ecosystem.
Shibarium’s collaboration with K9 Finance brings the total number of official partners to four. This exclusive list includes Welly, a fast-food chain from Naples; Unification, the developers behind Shibarium; Bad Idea AI, a project centered around artificial intelligence; and K9 Finance. Each partner is pivotal in enhancing the ecosystem and attracting more attention and utility to the SHIB token.
K9 Finance is preparing to launch its innovative liquid staking services on the Shibarium network. Liquid staking has gained traction in cryptocurrency for offering more flexibility than traditional staking methods. This flexibility allows users to contribute to the security of a blockchain while keeping their assets liquid for trading or lending.
In an interview with IBTimes, Buzz, the pseudonymous founder of K9 Finance, highlighted the platform’s role in the Shibarium ecosystem. It aims to mirror the services Lido Finance provides for the Ethereum network. Users staking their BONE tokens on K9 Finance will receive knBONE, an LSD token, which can be used in various decentralized finance activities to optimize earnings.
Moreover, the K9 team recently celebrated the successful conclusion of its native token presale, KNINE. The presale witnessed an overwhelming demand, with the number of interested buyers surpassing the available supply of tokens. The team’s focus now shifts to the KNINE token generation event, a significant forthcoming milestone in their roadmap.
