- Bitcoin swept below $80,400 before rebounding to $82,885 and reclaiming the weekly range.
- The $83,500–$83,600 rejection block is the next hurdle before a possible move toward $87,000.
- Losing $81,500 would weaken the recovery, while a break below $80,400 threatens the range reclaim.
Bitcoin rebounded toward $82,885 on Binance’s four-hour chart after sweeping below the weekly range low near $80,400. The recovery reclaimed the trading range, bringing the $83,500–$83,600 bearish rejection block into focus. However, further gains toward $87,000 depend on defending the $81,500 support level and subsequently breaking above resistance.

Weekly Liquidity Sweep Below $80,400 Puts $87,000 in Focus
During the first week, sellers pushed Bitcoin from above $86,000 toward $80,400, establishing the range’s lower boundary. Although prices recovered toward $83,600 in the second week, renewed selling drove the market below its previous low. However, buyers subsequently reclaimed the range, forming a pattern commonly described as a sell-side liquidity sweep.

This occurs when prices briefly fall beneath established support before reversing, potentially triggering stop-loss orders and attracting renewed buying interest. Nevertheless, the chart alone cannot confirm the number of executed stop orders or establish whether institutional investors accumulated positions during the reversal.
BTC Faces $83,600 Supply as $81,500 CISD Defines Support
Following the liquidity sweep, Bitcoin rebounded toward $82,885, placing it approximately 0.9% below the $83,600 resistance level. That area previously interrupted recovery attempts, making it the immediate test of buyer strength and a key obstacle to another sustained advance.
The chart’s projected path includes a possible setback from $83,500 to $83,600 toward the change-in-state-of-delivery, or CISD, level near $81,500. Defending that level would preserve the potential higher-low structure.
Buyers would then need to reclaim $83,600 to strengthen the case for further gains. A four-hour close above resistance, followed by a successful retest, would offer stronger confirmation than a temporary price spike.
Bitcoin’s $87,000 Target Faces Risk if $81,500 Support Fails
Such confirmation would bring the weekly range high near $87,000 into focus, approximately 5% above $82,885. However, this remains a conditional upside target, as neither a successful defense of the $81,500 CISD level nor a confirmed breakout above $83,600 has occurred.
Conversely, sustained trading below $81,500 would weaken the recovery structure, while renewed acceptance beneath $80,400 would further shift attention back toward the sweep low and expose the range reclaim to failure.
Beyond technical levels, macro uncertainty adds another constraint. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported September consumer inflation of 3.7% annually and a 1.3% monthly producer-price increase. Those figures precede the Federal Reserve’s October 27–28 meeting, when policy expectations could influence risk appetite.
Key Technical Levels
| Level | Technical Significance |
| $87,000 | Weekly range high; bullish objective |
| $83,500–$83,600 | Bearish rejection block; immediate resistance |
| $82,885 | Observed rebound level |
| $81,500 | CISD support; bullish structure pivot |
| $80,400 | Weekly range low; breakdown threshold |
Bullish Continuation Case: Defending $81,500 after a rejection near $83,600, followed by a confirmed resistance reclaim, would support an advance toward $87,000.
Bearish Failure Case: Sustained trading below $81,500 would weaken the recovery. Moreover, acceptance beneath $80,400 would threaten the bullish structure.
It marks Bitcoin’s immediate resistance following previous bearish rejections.
A successful $81,500 defense followed by a sustained breakout above $83,600.
The weekly high remains a conditional target following resistance confirmation.
Losing $81,500 weakens the structure, while sustained trading below $80,400 threatens the range reclaim.
