- Solana price prediction stays bearish below $105.09, with $98.57 the weekly floor to hold
- SolanaFloor says Akash passed a vote to migrate to Solana with 98% in favor
- Solana ETFs lost $8.23M on October 26 while Bitcoin ETFs took in $110.34M
Solana price prediction for this week stays bearish below $105.09, the level SOL needs to reclaim, while the 20-week average at $98.57 is the floor to hold.
Solana Price Analysis: Can SOL Hold Its Lower Bollinger Band?
SOL is holding the lower Bollinger Band at $98.95 for now, trading at $99.73 and down 1.07% today, but it sits about 5% under the midline at $105.09, so sellers still control the daily trend.
RSI at 33.33 is close to the 30 line that marks oversold readings. Bearish divergences flagged in early September and early October were each followed by a drop.

Solana Weekly Chart Analysis: Can SOL Hold the 20-Week EMA?
SOL is holding just above the 20-week EMA at $98.57 for now, with the weekly candle near $99.70, but it sits under the 50-week EMA at $105.94, the 200-week at $112.32 and the 100-week at $117.18. A fair value gap, a zone where price moved fast and left little trading behind, also runs from about $113 to $117, so resistance is stacked from $105.94 upward.
The September rally stalled near $125, and SOL has since slid back to its 20-week average. Below price, a second fair value gap spans roughly $77 to $94 and would be the next support if the average fails.
SOL looks more likely to bounce toward $105.09 than to close the week below $98.57, and a weekly close below that level would put the $94 zone in play.

Solana’s outflow was small next to Ethereum’s, but with Bitcoin the only group taking in money, fund demand is not cushioning SOL near $99.

Solana Derivatives: Open Interest Rises as Longs Take Most of the Liquidations
More money is moving into SOL contracts even as price slips. Open interest, the total value of open contracts, rose 3.87% to $6.50 billion, and derivatives volume climbed 9.08% to $5.31 billion. Longs have paid for it.
They made up $3.47 million of the $4.73 million in liquidations over 24 hours, which are trades closed by force when a leveraged position runs out of margin, and $637.56K of the last four hours’ $686.91K. Binance shows 3.09 long accounts for every short, so most traders are still betting on a bounce.
| Metric | Value | What it shows |
| Derivatives volume | $5.31B, up 9.08% | Trading activity rising |
| Open interest | $6.50B, up 3.87% | More money in open positions |
| 24h liquidations | $4.73M, longs $3.47M | Longs took most of the losses |
| 4h liquidations | $686.91K, longs $637.56K | Longs took the recent hit |
| Binance long/short accounts | 3.09 | More accounts long than short |
Solana Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for This Week
Bullish Case, Target: $111.24
SOL holds above the 20-week EMA at $98.57, closes above the daily Bollinger midline at $105.09 and clears the 50-week EMA at $105.94. That would open the upper Bollinger Band at $111.24, with the 200-week EMA at $112.32 just above it. A turn to inflows in Solana ETFs would fit this path.
Bearish Case, Risk Level: $98.57 (20-Week EMA)
SOL closes below the lower Bollinger Band at $98.95 and the 20-week EMA at $98.57, which would put the top of the weekly fair value gap near $94 in play. A weekly close below that zone would expose its base near $77. More long liquidations would fit this path.

FAQs
SOL stays bearish below $105.09 and could rebound toward $105.94 and then $111.24 if it closes above the daily midline and the 50-week EMA. A weekly close below the 20-week EMA at $98.57 would put the $94 zone in play.
SOL is down 1.07% at $99.73, below the $105.09 Bollinger midline, with RSI at 33.33. US spot Solana ETFs lost $8.23M on October 26, and longs took $3.47M of the $4.73M liquidated over 24 hours, but the data does not point to a single cause.
The 20-week EMA at $98.57 and the daily lower Bollinger Band at $98.95 are the nearest supports, both within a dollar of price. A close below them would put the weekly fair value gap near $94 in play.
SolanaFloor reports that Akash passed a proposal to migrate from the Cosmos chain to Solana with 98% yes votes. Its native token, AKT, will launch as an SPL token on Solana.
